Ive seen a few comparisons to Lester Piggott. AFAIK, Piggot went to jail for Tax Evasion....for Zahawi its tax avoidance...with a lot of people, including a tweet posted above, that Zahawi has done "exactly the same" as Piggott.

As far as i know, tax avoidance isnt illegal...just morally questionable, especially for someone who was Chancellor...are people just conflating the two?

You have this wrong. If it were tax avoidance, which is legal, he wouldn’t have to pay up.

He is guilty of tax evasion and has been caught out.

Imagine that - any of the news outlets that have the audacity to actually report this story play it down to make it look like its not bad after all - its almost like they are covering for the Tories isn't it?
