I can understand Pep's reluctance to drop KDB two games on the run as it would send out a message that he is no longer first choice. KDB is realistically the only player who could make way from that side for Alvarez as otherwise leaves us short in midfield.

If we do need to bring Alvarez on I hope he gets more than the usual 15 minutes.
