I don’t think we are solid enough to stop opponents making chances so should concentrate on scoring goals and attacking, hence let’s get Alvarez and Bernardo on. Still think these are there for the taking.

Don’t disagree, he’s had maybe 1 season uninterrupted during his time, other reasons alluded to, however, when he’s good we have always looked more solid, it’s just his Achilles heel that he never seems to be able to sustain staying fit!

I think we’ve shown plenty of signs that we can get at them.
However our short game passing has been dire.
Haaland in particular has been poor at the link up play and he is the only out ball we have from the keeper at times.
Grealish showing his lack of a final ball too.
They are pressing us from the edge of our own box. No one in midfield is showing for the ball. We basically need to beat one man and we’ll have them turned and in trouble. Just pick a decent ball then. We’ve done it a couple of times but with no end ball.
 
During most of Peps time we’ve been like a machine driving forward, overlapping players. City players running and harrying.

Lately we seem to play slow football and most of the time it seems our main tactic is to play passing patterns round our final third and give it to our keeper.

We might still win this. Arsenal are no great shakes but they play with the energy we lack.
 
There are so many players totally out of form this season

Like some have said we are only usually seeing snippets of our old self throughout games (2nd half against wolves the exception) over the course of the season

If these rumours of player unrest hold any truth, then the problems need eradicating as soon as possible

Something doesnt seem right this year thats for sure

The only thing I'm trying to be positive about is our second half performances have been good last few games,same needed again tonight now,cause that was shite

For whatever reason(s) we keep seeing some of our historically better players on the bench. Every game. If those players are there because of lack of fitness then ok, at some point they will be back and we will be much stronger. If they are there for reasons that mean they won’t be coming back in, then we need a fucking massive overhaul because the players that have taken their places in the side are nowhere near the same fucking level.
