Rishi Sunak

The whole "due process" stuff is unnecessary. Zahawi couldn't sue for unfair dismissal, and an "ethics advisor" surely isn't supposed to investigate allegations of improper behaviour - isn't the job just to advise on ethics? "Lying to the Prime Minister" is not very ethical.

Loved the way he distanced himself from Zahawi today, stating that he was unaware of any issues when appointing him.

Wasn‘t he the Chancellor during the period when this happened?

Let‘s be honest, Sunak is a puppet. How could the Chancellor at the time not know about Zahawi’s HMRC issues, then as the PM.

The whole party is compromised and just there to take the money, continue to sell themselves for future funds, while also pushing the country into deeper crisis.

God, I wish they‘d just fuck off.

Edited for accuracy

He has clearly demonstrated how weak he is with the whole Zahawi affair. A Prime Minister in a position of strength would not have had Zahawi anywhere near the cabinet. The only question is who is the next minister to be sacked for corruption. He certainly won’t sack anyone for incompetence.

Let’s not forget, wasn’t it Raab who he succeeded, who is now under even more scrutiny for his small man antics. These cunts still stay in their position of influence when they should be made to stand down from anything political.

It‘s all a farce now and I hate to see our country diminished any more by this shitshow of a supposed democratic state. Just shows how bad our antiquated laws are not fit for purpose.

Focus now needs to be on Sunak, he knew this was going on but yet appointed him a position of power. His predecessor’s predecessor fell on his sword for appointing someone with skeletons in their closet that they knew about, the same should be happening to Sunak and a general election called. We can’t go on like this for another 2 years.

Will be incredibly difficult to appoint anybody as there is clearly nobody with integrity or honesty amongst the tories .

It really focuses the mind on the fact he rehired the home secretary a few days after she broke the ministerial code.

Also, the ministerial code applies to all MPs, so if Zahawi has breached it so badly,
He must resign and/or lose the whip.

Matt Hancock will be getting the party whip back at this rate.

I always thought the point of doing it in 2022 was that by the time the election comes around enough time will have passed they can reinstate him quietly.

He should be resigning as well not least because the prick donated 3% of his appearance fee to the charities he said he was going on to raise money for.
