Saw him on Sky last week commentating on the dippers and rags sales, mentioned potential US or Middle East owners calling it a great global opportunity. “Sportswashing” clearly doesn’t apply.

His Dad allegedly payed his wages at Burnley cos the club were gonna release him….. as a youth.

City were the first 'disruptors' and being the Mancunian club that 'disrupted' the media darlings of Trafford we copped for the full focus of the media hatred.

They can't repeat that with NFC & have the same impact or effect,mainly cos NFC will probably 'play' the media better than City have and and its easier to have one target than two.

Newcastle will become the romantic under dog and the media will be keeping their powder dry for the time when Pep leaves.

They've probably already written their hateful copy !!

It will be interesting to see the coverage of the (likely) League Cup final between the 2 Uniteds.
You would assume that Newcastle would receive the media sympathy vote, due to them not winning a trophy since the mid 1970's.
Usually the underdog gets plenty of media support.
However, in this case I can see the Stretford Snakes, as usual, getting the lion's share of the media coverage.
Having moved to the North East recently, I didn't realise how much the Geordies detest MUFC.
I would imagine there will be plenty of Geordies in the MUFC parts of Wembley, who will be up for supporting their team...

To be expected and sad thing is am used to the never ending negativity of everything to do with our club in the media because it’s great for clicks for these vermin in the media!
 
‘100’s’ of piss taking comments after the match report have been deleted by the Daily Mail. I read some of them. There are now zero comments to read.

The Scouse c*nts are untouchable. The football media are sh*t scared of LFC and their fans.

Sky have been clever in signing up Richards as a pundit. Ex City player not be taken seriously.

I get the feeling that goal would somehow have been disallowed if there hadn't already been so many corrupt decisions.

An important point about this editing /removing posts, is that it fuels the future narrative.
Google would have indexed (and revisited on whatever basis it does) the web page and its comments at that time.
The commented words (for example) ‘Liverpool’ ‘cheating VAR’ would be picked up and indexed, even though the main article was a whitewash of facts, but because it’s been edited/removed the negative and factual narrative is expunged for ever more.
Whereas, as you among many have commented, City match reports is practically a comment free-for-all of bollox regurgitation - which then lives forever in Google’s indexes.
After 10+ years of this censorship/free-for-all it’s no wonder that it’s hard to locate facts/easy to locate lies.
 
Jedi mind tricks by the ITV commentary on the Dippers game.
At half time no one deserves to be losing (this is after they'd lauded the Dippers all half).
2nd half Liverpool have been the better side, they said.
I've just looked at the stats and Brighton beat them in every department except fouls.
It's a good job I'm not blind or I would believe the Dippers are in the next round
