Yep Chinese consortium bought Ac Milan for €740m spent 300m on players did shite uefa all over them after 3 years after there plan went tits up they was in europa so pulled out all together before uefa got hold of them!

Premier league is different Chelsea be fine plus the new ffp is easier to pass!
Unless, their amortised costs are £100m per year, (don't forget Lukaku) wages of £250m, interest of £80m and no Champions League plus other Operating expenses, turnover drops, they could be in the brown stuff. Turned over £410m last accounts, 90% of turnover next season only gives them £369m to play with but I'm sure their Finance Team know what they're doing but it's fiscal brinkmanship.

deffo no sportwashing agenda with the Boehly spending.
it will go more along the lines of inflating transfer prices, creating bigger harder competition etc.
but none of that evil spending, sportwashing, clubs getting together to sign secret letters against Chelsea etc.

Good question, why don't you? Arsenal and Chelsea are spending. Liverpool and United when they get their Qatari or Saudi owners will spend like that mad too. What's stopping City? You have the highest revenue in Europe and filthy rich owners.
Don't think we really need to at the moment? I'm sure we will spunk quite a bit in the summer on Bellingham and one or 2 more possibly. No point panic buying players we don't need and unbalancing the squad just because other teams are spending. We still have the best squad IMO, at least for now.

So, if they get argentine Enzo signed they would have forked out somewhere in the region of £630m since Boehly arrived! (According to reports)

Crazy

There's is zero chance Chelsea will not spend in the next couple of windows

Yes but to this extent? No chance. The scale of this spending is bonkers. I could see us potentially making Felix permanent and finally securing the long awaited Nkunku arrival but apart from that the squad is in need of trimming, not adding.

They are getting round this mammoth spending by putting players on ridiculous contracts.

Mudryk has signed an 8 year contract, chelsea have spread the cost out over that period.
They'll either do the same with fernandes or pay a huge downpayment and reduce the spread of the payment left.

Of course sky sports will let us all know that...
