I have to agree, he's a dam good player. Much better than Jack and Gundog imo. Be good to see him in a City Shirt.

That's a fair assessment. I think we're past the 'can do a job' phase for any player joining the club, mostly due to the standards we've set for ourselves. The can do a job player also has to do an exceptional job at the very least to consistently start or be pivotal in a title run/cup run.

I'd listen to two names but not Chilwell, he's already injury prone and the reason why Chelsea bought in Cucurella as a replacement, why would we now go back and risk it for him?

He's a very good player but just do not see him as a player for City, we barely operate with 10s

Haaaahaa. you can't be serious. I can assure you our youth players can control a football better than james madison. that is the level of player we are speaking about here.

There is one other already world class player who is ready to step up to the next level. the name is nicolo barella. my choice to pair with Rodri in the midfield and then also we can buy bellingham and allow him a couple of years to grow into his potential.

Really don't know. Bellingham seems like an obvious choice..he has clear qualities but I don't think he is technically that gifted.
Dejong is another good player but potential attitude issue...works he cope in the prem or would we have a bit of a mard arse?

look at the post above I think pep will love nicolo barella. him along with bellinghm will solve our midfield issues for half a decade. bellingham can provide the running while barella could provide the technicality.
 
There's a reason Maddison has one England appearance by the age of 26 - he's just not that good. And people want him to replace Bernardo?

And Chilwell? Really? Do people want us to win our first CL or would you rather we collect a sub-par Brexit pack fit for the treatment room? Give me strength.

I'm jot suggesting that at all as firstly its just rumours at present (no disrespect to TH). I just think that maddison although a good player isn't ever going to be at the level of previous midfielders......I also think they have got it wrong with kelvin Phillips and I know its not popular but also with Grealish..certainly for the money they paid ( not the players fault) ..again some who although he has improved is not going to reach the top level of a kdb or David Silva for instance ....that's the level we need yo be aiming for.

We always constantly changing, why would we play same every season?

Do you think Pep and co didn't have plan bringing him over here, maybe Maddison part of new plan to try something new.
