It's literally the same set up we've been playing for the last 3 games (all wins). Alvarez started against Spurs, Kev started the last 2. Bernardo in for Gundo makes sense.

Walker in for Stones does as well. I stand by what I said post Southampton, he can absolutely play that role on the right of a back 3, he's done it for England and done it often enough for us when Cancelo/Zinchenko have come into the middle. He'll be much better with Rico next to him than Cancelo.

Soo it seems weve gone for pace in back line hence ruben and laporte not starting. I think ruben isnt being rushed back as he was last season and end up injured straight away again and i think his importance come the champs league.

Foot injury. From many accounts that he sustained in training, on purpose, in a bad challenge from Cancelo.

He has returned to training this week though.

Laporte and Dias on the bench too.. what a joke..he just has to over complicate things.

Assume Lewis and Walker as FBs with Akanji and Ake at CB but could almost be anything to be honest. Not the strongest in the air and could be a mistake against Kane. Seems strange with Dias and Laporte available.

Other than that, looks pretty decent.
