PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

What I don't understand is this. Before the PL would allow Chelsea to be bought by Todd Boehly. He had to prove that he had 1.7billion ringfenced that was purely allocated for Chelsea. This gave them financial stability in terms of long term survival, so that they couldn't just suddenly go bust if Boehly walked away.

So why didn't ADUG just do the same? Here is the money, it is ringfenced and the club have access to it in perpetuity?

Instead of all the snide sponsorship deals between, brothers, uncles, cousins, that can all be traced straight back to ADUG.
 
It’s my last season. With the season ticket, Sky Sports, BT Sports, Sky Bet in a cost of living crisis with their corrupt product, they can fuck off. I know the team haven’t been at it this season, but the officiating has been as obvious as a cock on a nun. They’re fucking desperate for us not to win this league. That along with City staff and their attitude to legacy fans, I’ve no stomach to fight for them. A league run by bent, corrupt thundercunts.

No chance this gets resolved this season.
 
I've never queried our sponsorship deals. To me they've seemed fair value all along. Also, I'm sure our contracts are very cleverly written and our players are well rewarded. No problem with that, I've always assumed the legalities are fine.

The one part I've always been a bit less sure about, and I don't know if any charges relate to it, is how transfer fees/contracts/registrations etc work when players are signed as City Group signings. I'm sure it all can be legit, but it does feel like the waters are a bit less clear there.

When it comes down to it we've known for round about 10 years that certain clubs are after us though, and that governing bodies will try and appease them. I've thought for years now that because we know we're under such a microscope, that we were having to be whiter than white to avoid charges. I'm hoping this is the case. If we've not been, then the people running out club have been very stupid, and I (currently) don't think they are stupid people.
