PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Yes but at what cost to our club and fanbase? You can't play football with all that hanging over your heads for years. What's the point of players sweating blood to win titles, fans investing everything emotionally and financially if they think some governing body could make it all null and void?

It could be that we didn't comply originally and then sent the information later. Would still be a breach just not a serious one.

It does seem like the PL are chucking everything and the kitchen sink in with this one.

Its taken the EPL 4 years to come up with these charges if there was anything substantial it wouldn't have taken that long

What worries me, is that the PL like everyone else saw UEFA get bent over by us as CAS. They do not want to be in the same situation and therefore have they taken 4 years to do a proper job and make sure that at least some of this sticks?
 
I cannot influence the outcome of the investigation but I hope we are innocent and that’s what I am going to presume until proved otherwise. Less angst that way.
If we are proved innocent then gloves off and fight fire with fire.
 
Has David Gill been announced on the independent review commission yet? This is a witch hunt of the highest order. This could be seen as racist, weird how only City get investigated. It's quite incredible that the scousers, rags and arsenal can create such a stink over us. This is a big 3 campaign against City, we have damaged their prospects and they don't like it. I hope we get a full apology from the PL in the coming weeks after our owners blow them out the water.
