Despite the optimism I find it incredibly hard to believe that this KC, who by all accounts is a serious person, is going to waste 4 years of his time and stake his reputation on a bunch of trumped up charges against an opposition that's shown it is highly litigious.

98 bullshit charges that get knocked over in court doesn't just make him look bad, it would open up everyone involved to some very serious countersuits.

Makes them deal with it fast , be very difficult to be competitive while this is going on. The players will feel they are playing just to catch up on a potential points deduction

If it’s overturned, I’d sue the shit out of everyone involved.

Just checking I’ve got this right:

  1. Implement FFP in 2009 and give us less than 3 years to sort it.
  2. Income has to be by genuine sponsorship deals unrelated to owners.
  3. Acquire money through these deals, as proven by CAS.
  4. Spend years dragging our name through the mud so no sponsors will touch us.
This doesn’t even touch on the bad debt used to buy United, how FFP does nothing to prevent another Portsmouth/Bury, the monstrous debt of the other super league teams and how Chelsea (who got away with years of crazy spending under Abramovich) are twisting the rules to get around FFP.

Sue them all to hell.
 
I want to see a fight back, the clubs silence is deafening - Chelsea spend 600m - and thats ok?
If we're going down, it has to be with a fight. Silent as fuck. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

I have supported City for over 60 years and what a ride it has been. Never a dull moment. I get great consolation from knowing what agony our opponents are suffering to go to such lengths to smear our successes. I just love our club and thank our owners for the joy they have given me and our supporters.
 
You would think with clubs like Bury and others going under and the inequality, debt and "corruption" of football (Man U, Barca, Madrid and PSG..) the focus of those at top might be different. I hope we use this to our advantage, we close ranks, get behind the club and team and it will act to turbo boost our path to retaining the Prem title.

My view on this is that other clubs and the powers in and outside football are afraid we are becoming too powerful a force in the global game.....they are looking to chop us down to size. Bring it on.

Unfortunately I'm starting to feel the same way. At the end of the day we are simple football fans who choose a club, go and watch them and hope we win. It's supposed to be an escape from the stresses and strains of life not add to it. More importantly it's supposed to be a pleasure. It's a simple game ruined by too many restraints, rules, meddling and money. These days you're better off picking a local pub team and standing on the touchline in the cold and rain at no cost.
 
Mansour needs to ask couple of his family mates to start taking over Leeds, Bournemouth, Everton etc.
and especially Liverpool and United and burn them to the ground.
