I hope not, I want to see the mother of all meltdowns on rawk.No
It just means this will rumble on for years
Why? This bellend as you call him has said he will go in front of the arsenal member and his mates and tell then NO payments were made.
No we shouldnt , it might land us in hot water legally wise , we fight battles on advice of our legal teamthe exact reason we should be proactive and pushing it in public if we have evidence to prove we are innocent?
He's thinking that because he can't believe the PL are relying on photocopies of Der Spiegel articles as the sum total of their 'evidence' like UEFA did.The lad don't know nuffink.
He thinks it's a stronger case because it can't be appealed to CAS, and because there are more charges over a longer period. What a twat. And he was in charge against us. Shakes head in disbelief.
TH to ask an obvious question why does this keep happening to us?
I really thought the UEFA case would be the last one and everyone was relieved when we won, now it's this
It's really draining
I would not be so sure, they want to take over our game and by their rules, our verdict will be pivotal if they are successful or not.The yanks are not going anywhere though are they mate? The club can fight back in smaller ways like removing the cunts from the press box and prevent them having access to players.
Now I don't claim to know what's happening behind closed doors (The club might very well be doing lots of stuff that's not reported) but even if we cut a deal to behave to appease the red top yanks for me that is corruption and it'll kill football for me.
VAR wasn't the straw that broke the Camels back but constant attacks without what seems no reply have taken the edge off it for me, not because it's happening but because the club has no problem telling fans how it is but has little gumption to come out fighting on behalf of the club so that we as fans have something to rally around.
If you want a positive spin the media is not the place to look. For every fair article/comment there will be 1000 the opposite. I haven’t watched SSN, or been on twitter since this broke, because I know what I would be letting myself in for.Just in SSN that many Premier League teams want us kicked out of the League. Of course they do, that's a Champions League place going elsewhere, a Europa League place, (and the other tin pot comp) and a relegation place saved. It's no coincidence these charges are brought when every single team in the league has a vested interest in us being relegated.
The hacked emails are irrelevant as we showed UEFA and CAS the original emails and it was agreed that they were real and the two that had been edited together hadn't had their meaning changed by the editing Der Spiegel/Pinto did to them. The UEFA case had certain issues 'time barred, also the illegally obtained evidence like hacked emails were inadmissible. This won't be the case with the PL case.
I would say Khaldoon will be the one advising, he is the man.I think Mr Khaldoon will discuss it with Sheikh M who will then advise him as to what course of action should be taken.
I am mindful that our owner likes low profile steady growth knowing full well he was not welcome from day 1.
He is a financial investor so unless his investment is severely threatened he is unlikely to change his stance.
Obviously just an opinion.
It's a "match" we simply can't lose, maybe the most important win in the clubs history?
That's not going to happen, but the club need to wise up on the fact this is a PR battle just as much as a legal one, and they should be putting out something more substantial than yesterday's statement.
It's very noticeable how many journalists are getting steered by, or off the record comment from, other clubs. City can't let their opposition be the only voice filling the news void that's going to exist for the next 6 months.

If m. Leterme wants to see a serious fraud he should look in a mirror. And we're going to use lawyers to defend ourselves. How low can you go.. Thought we'd send a couple of blokes tanked up from Mary Ds.
Yeah, agree, which why smashing up the PL would make no sense to him as he's earning a packet out of it.I think Mr Khaldoon will discuss it with Sheikh M who will then advise him as to what course of action should be taken.

City have to keep their powder dry and say nothing if they feel they are confident of being exonerated. Anything in the public domain via our directors, manager, players, staff etc will be picked up on as prejudicing the case. The premier leagues opening gambit of briefing journalists before the club was informed is throwing meat to our legal team. Say nothing until they are all crying on Sky sports news after the verdict is announced. Then go after everyone with a scorched earth policy.
