PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Rags and Red dippers asking what will I do when we are relegated I always answer still hating you

Any other fans such as Villa etc I just tell them the Super League is where we will be whilst they play in the watered down PL
If we join the superleague i think I'll go and watch my local team, Stalybridge Celtic. At least i won't feel ripped off or suffer shit VAR decisions.

I've just listened to sly sports ( I know I shouldnt) about whether, if it came to the worst and City were thrown out of the Premier League would they be accepted into the EFL. They reckon that the EFL probably wouldn't accept City, from what theve heard. The more you dig into it the more it looks as if they are threatening our very existence as a club. Our am I being over dramatic there.

just because it says serious does not mean it some magical high bar. if we feel we are being wronged "seriously" we can indeed take it to court. besides I am pretty sure it will be the court that will take the decision if we are "seriously" wronged in the first place and that is not upto the panel. so I am sure our lawyers can come up with a reasoning if we get shafted in the tribunal arbitration process.

Especially if its false accounting we are being accused of which then then lead to tax evasion surely and other financial charges that go beyond sporting issues? The Premier League cant just say well we think you have done it if we feel our proof doesnt?

I honestly think all this is driven by constant badgering from the red clubs to the Premier league making them act. The prem league have shit it and have had to look like they're acting hence these charges.
Most of these alleged offences will be laughed off with nothing to see. The worst we'll get if found guilty will be a huge fine and points deduction, but I'm confident we'll prevail

Whatever happens guys, we know we won it all on the pitch, they can never take the Aguero moment from us or that fight back last year, they know they can’t beat us on the pitch so they will try anything else. I think it’s a watershed moment now, if we lose we will come back even stronger, if we win it will do untold damage to the league as they are shown up for what they are, whatever happens nothing will be the same afterwards.

I got a thread ban last time I suggested something similar to this, so I’m on my best behaviour now. He’s been slandering City for years, if we’re cleared I wouldn’t like to be him.
I wouldn't like to be him if we are cleared or not.

The more I speak to people surrounding City, the less I am fretting.

It's as if we already know we will be more than fine.

I'm not going to invest much more angst into this, as everything else is just partisan and misinformed bollocks.

Our summer transfer window could make Chelsea's January one resemble a car jumble.
Good words but this is going to drag on for some months. Will players still want to sign whilst we have this cloud over us?

EFL would see it as a massive payday, no way would they snub us (they're one of us, continually fucked over by 6 clubs).

Having had a couple of days to reflect, do you still believe the timing of this was coincidental and the government White Paper is “unconnected”?
It was definitely rushed out, the errors in the statement prove that... the question is why... and moreover why the media (bar a couple of voices) are not asking that question!
Sadly we all know the answer to that!

Someone like PB should phone in and tie the dicker in knots but then like they did with Martin Samuel they’d just cut him off.
Absolutely no point. Anyone with a bit of intelligence against him would be cut off in a flash. I’ve seen a clip of a City fan calling up talksport yesterday saying FFP isn’t fair, that’s what they want from City fans. Just don’t give them the air time.

The High Court is an option. And that's coming from City yesterday.
It depends what they mean. They have already been to the High Court on procedural grounds in this matter. And can again. BUT they can't go there in respect of the substantive consideration of the facts unless the process has serious irregularities or doesn't have jurisdiction.

When the club successfully defends itself, they should push to get rid of the fucking whole FFP drivel. Either have a salary cap thats the same for all clubs or don't fucking bother with anything.
Fuck that, FFP works in our favour now. We’re self sufficient and rolling in cash. Nobody will be able to catch us up if we carry on with the trajectory we’re going at.

Vinnie getting fired up! That's more like it. Everyone associated with the club need to speak the fuck up. If your allegiance or association with the club only goes as far as getting paid to oversee the activities of the club then you are not really one of us. At times like this we don't need to dig up stupid conditional clauses, if you stand with the team then speak the fuck up!

It’s going to be an absolute pile on from the media and opposition fans for the next few months (years) until we are (hopefully) exonerated - in the meantime we are going to need thick skins and a sense of humour. Whatever happens we will still be there week in, week out and whether its vs Bayern or Borehamwood.

Was thinking we might need to update a few songs to show that we really don’t give a f*ck.

I’m no Noel Gallagher but maybe something like this to the tune of “we never win at home …”

Oh we spent loads of cash and ignored fair play
Banned by UEFA but we got away
We won’t give a fuck if it goes tits up
M C F C - Always

Shit, I know but you get the idea …..
Needs a tweak or two, but I like the idea.
