Super Sancho etc… seem to be the headlines tonight! Would that be the same if we drew 2-2 with Leeds at home?
Is that his second goal of the season? He must still be twenty-odd behind our Viking, but hey, if a Rag can kick a ball straight at the Swamp it's breaking news.

Compare that to the ten column inches the women's game got last night. I've read the entire article and it seems Greenwood made two great tackles, but that was the sum total of our efforts over 120mins. If anyone wasn't aware of the slant the RDAHMeedya put on football reporting people would think we never laid a boot on the ball.

BBC Lincolnshire played Poundland Pep's interview this morning following his £750m teams 'stunning' comeback against plucky manager-less Leeds.

Lucky if they even read out our results, let alone play a Pep interview.
Seems the BBC drench the nation's entire airwaves with pro-Rag propaganda. Goebbels could have learned a trick or two from them. I will relish the day when the BBC are forced to ask for a 'voluntary' subscription' rather than one where they twist my arm up my back! But then, Sky and BT propaganda hasn't abated despite non-Rags 'n non-Dippers buying in! Perhaps they'd come clean then and brazenly re-brand as RedShirt Broadcasting Cunts.

Just seen Jason Burt (telegragh) lauding Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's 'investment' in Wrexham FC and the surrounding area. Says it's fantastic and has re-built a club that has sooooo much history.

This was moments after he slagged off City and questioned our spending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do they actually listen to themselves??????
Burt and Reynolds were looking to do a TV series, a reality TV show. They hit on English football. They asked friends and one suggested Wrexham.
It's great for Wrexham but when the ratings start to fall, what then for the club?

Doesn't 14 years prove the PL are unfit to self regulate themselves?
I suspect the first fourteen weeks, setting aside the initial hullabaloo, proved they were a bunch of tossers, concerned more with revenue streams, media rights, and 'the brand' rather than the 'good of the game'!

Even he said we were "obviously guilty".
Yes. Bad call by Martin on the back of no evidence that he had seen. Did the papers’ lawyers not tell the journos that Der Spiegel‘s purported reproduction of emails had little or no probative value? Any journo that had consulted a lawyer could have produced a really good story counter to the herd’s pile on. Martin missed a trick there.

Outrageous. Surely outside investment is against FFP. Wrexham should be left to rot like all other clubs.
Hopefully transfer ban and points deduction incoming. If they don’t comply kick them out of the league.
You can only spend what the club has legitimately earned. Don’t they know this?
FFS
Sponsored by Hollywood. Legit, obviously.

The PL Rules amazingly provide for compensation to clubs in our position, if found not guilty. Expect that it would be limited, though.

Ladyman has definitely taken over from Martin Samuel at the DM.

Another gut wrenching piece this week from the Rag PR shill.

Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.

City wouldn't appoint a £50/80k a day brief if they think the charges / allegations are minor. They're clearly not

Put it this way... If the charges don't stick, City should absolutely wipe the floor with the PL and sections of the media. There would be no reason whatsoever for the City Group not to.

That said, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them to do it if we 'win'.

Football at the 'elite' level stinks across the board.
The second para is nonsense. You don’t appoint lawyers just on the seriousness of the charges. You take into account the size of the threat. In this case we face an existential risk, even if the charges are minor. Why? Because this is a witch hunt and proportionality has gone out of the window. Don’t forget the commission is employed by the PL and the PL will be active in trying to get the harshest punishment possible.

According to Bing, Haaland's on his way out coz of the PL's charges. Pity there's no quotes or interview with him - surprising that, innit blud?
Football 365 says City stars are to be 'reallocated on expulsion...Haaland to Everton'
I'm sure Toffeedude'll be delighted!
Guess it must be true that City are getting relegated.

The clickbait's unbelievable.

Good letter in today’s Times:

Yep, superb post. There's lots more that could have been said, but that would have taken away from its "crispness" and probably not been published.

I would also like to add that in fact the ADUG model has been proven to be successful, not only on the pitch of course, but also in terms of a business model out of which ADUG will doubtless reap a profit in the medium to long term. Our owners through sound strategic planning and then rapid initial investment and expansion of the City group, have basically shown the rest of the world "This is how to do it", and the fact we've been so successful when they have not, really, really irks them.

That's because you're the one who has been brainwashed by ridiculous 'agendas' and conspiracy theories.

There's a fine line between creative accounting and fraud. If you think multi billion value businesses like City don't tiptoe around that line, you're naive.

Every club / big business will chance crossing that line in the hope they won't get caught. It's risk that maximises profit.
Do you think Khaldoon’s statement that there is concerted action against us, “clear and organised” is a ridiculous accusation of an agenda? You underestimate the anti Arab, anti Muslim mind set in the US since the World Trade Centre attack. You ignore the underhand tricks like hacking our database. You ignore the fact that Liverpool, ManU and Arsenal execs refer to Soriano as “the terrorist”.

I thought it was Khaldoon who was referred to as the Terrorist, didn't realise it was Soriano.

I think they would sell if they receive a verdict that is unacceptable. Remember City owners are Royalty and it would be unthinkable for them to be guilty of such serious allegations.
They would also pull the 10billion dollar investment it has in the UK.
In my opinion of course
I don’t think the 30 or so UK development projects by AbuDhabi are at risk. They used City as a gateway to those contracts which is fair business practice. They could sell City but leave the rest of their extremely profitable UK business in tact.
