We’ve saved enough from the past two transfer windows. Plus we will have a lot of outgoing. I don’t imagine cash will be an issue

If we can find decent buyers for Bernardo and Cancelo then fair enough, although my concern is Barca and Bayern are tight arses and won’t stump up the cash.

Well, we don’t know if we are after Rice but the only way that deal is a possibility is if Phillips is leaving. Plus we know Bernardo is likely to be leaving, and if Gvardiol is coming in it’s also a distinct possibility that Laporte is leaving. Also, Cancelo will be sold if we find a buyer. Plus the sales of academy players. So yeah, of course it’s possible. It’s actually very easily possible.

I’m not sure I want Rice and not sure the club do either, but we will be generating £200 million in player sales:

Bernardo - £60 mill
Cancelo - £55 mill
Academy - £30 mill

Really hope it`s not Rice. Doesn`t strike me as a Pep player stylistically. We`ll probably have to do a mini rebuild, and spending 100m on a backup DM seems like madness to me. If Phillips actually wants to go I`d take back Lavia in a heartbeat

We have to try and get the best players in their position out there and bellingham and gvaridol are the best, rice we can get rid of Phillips and put some cash so maybe £50-40m plus Phillips which even I think is a lot saying rice has one more year on their contract.

He doesn't if he intends to be Wayne Bridge 2.0. After injuries are healed he will have to get up to speed to play as often as he'd probably like.
