Arsenal (A) | Post Match Thread

Yet another “unprecedented” decision goes against us. Its uncanny, it really is…..

Its like a few years ago when Sterling gave away a penalty for blocking a player on a corner based on some new rules the premier league brought in that season. For the entire rest of that season i didn't see a single other penalty given for it.

Its just pure chance these once in a lifetime decisions happen to go against us.

next two for us Forest and Bournemouth away. need to get all 6 points.

Arsenal have Villa away and Leicester away who picked up a bit of form recently. Emery, Rodgers get fucked if you lie down to them.
To be honest I didn’t see anything tonight in their performance that makes me think they are going to win the league. They were ok but Arteta’s mad behaviour is starting to rub off on the team. I don’t think they have the experience.

See your point but all clubs really do feel the officials are against them - arsenal fans will be moaning about the ref and some decisions tonight guaranteed
Come off it. Arsenal cant complain about him tonight, he gave them everything. Even Gary Neville thinks both decisions (rashford & tonight) are a joke!!! You'll never see anything similar given again, unless its against City!!

Dias was a giant tonight, looked back to his best.

That 2nd half shows we got the balls to go toe to toe, kev giving it Arteta shows tonight we took no prisoners regardless.

Proper performance against Decembers league winners.
3 Favourite moments were all kev.

The goal
The shove
The wink to the crowd aiming shit at him with the same accuracy of Nketiah

Was that Mike “ I’m a celebrity “ Dean?

So the semi-literate twat doesn't know the difference between their and there?
The whole sky sports team is like one flew out of the cuckoos nest , but with vitriol and hatred of City that shows week after week , and gargoyle is the anti City figurehead , we need three in a row , a far far bigger achievement than the European FA cup , the commentary on BT Sport tonight was nothing short of an anti City disgrace by the way , stay on talkshite Mcoist you grade 1 bellend .

Agree about Arteta - they were too wound up tonight and looked very brittle in the second half.

We got a penalty for the exact same thing in that very same game, it was when they decided they were going to crack down on holding at corners and it lasted for that game and that game only.
One game only , like the Rashford shepherding Roland rat, Ralph little, 0ffside goal game.

I thought it was harsh also

As you see that many times and refs rarely give a pen

I can see why he did, goalie did clatter into Nketah after ball was played but it’s hard for goalkeepers to avoid them situations - bit of a grey area for me but I would sway to no pen
They never give them if the player gets the shot away. Goalkeepers only ever concede a foul if they prevent the player from getting to the ball. Even if technically in the rules there's nothing to say that, that's the way it's always been refereed. Except in a big match when the Premier League need Arsenal to get back into it. I'm glad we shoved it down their throat.
