He’s got a cracking shot on him and that’s it. Barça and Bayern can’t have watched him if they both thought he was worth recruiting.

That £142m Barça paid Liverpool (or more accurately a debt company over five years… Liverpool still haven’t received the full amount either, still £13m short) for him was the dodgiest transfer deal in history. He wasn’t worth £42m never mind another £100m on top.

Around the same time we paid about £42m for Bernardo Silva.
