Alverez is not what we need, Phil for Gundog is the obvious one.

That was obvious up 1-0 but now that they're tied they need to do something that might actually generate a chance. Phil would have shored them up and added a new threat for RBL to deal with. As it was they saw that City weren't going to break forward so they just attacked knowing that even if they had a break City would stop it and make a back pass.
