We have a 6ft 5 beast in the box and yet we utterly refuse to put the ball in for him. Play it wide, cut back inside, play it back, across to the CB, rinse and repeat for 90 minutes and hope something happens.

That’s arguably our best side at the moment, in terms of form, but it’s probably well short of being good enough to win this tournament.

There’s a history of teams winning it or coming close when not having the best season domestically. Until a couple of years ago, our best performance was under Pellegrini when we got to the semi having been dreadful almost all season. Think we finished with 66 points. Competition winners Liverpool 05, Chelsea 12 & 21 all had disappointing form overall in those seasons. We just need a bit of luck!

Oh here we go. You think that was a great performance? Decent result but we look so far off it. When they upped it in the 2nd half we were all over the place.

Something is wrong here. I still don't understand why we're having a hard time passing the ball to Haaland. Maybe Pep will change things in the next weeks to motivate the team and things will improve.

I don't know anymore, it's a bit depressing specially when you have a player like the big man up front.

Interesting Summer ahead for the club if we're planning a big overhaul.

Complete lack of creativity

Besides the goal Mahrez offers very little and that is standard from him - said it time and time again...he just wouldnt play for me

Grealish - was ok - but he simply isnt affecting games consistently -its a worry that he is our best attacking outles as his best ISNT good enough

Haaland - could do better with hold up play but besides that he is getting nothing from this team

People will point to the absence of KDB but his form has been very inconsistent this year

Gundo is back to being metronomic but just again isnt affecting anything creativity wise.

Our wide players and creative midfielders are just not doing it...we have Silva playing deepest of all those mentioned and he is probably better creatively than all of them - primarily because Pep has realised after the first couple of years that Gundo doesnt have the legs to play more defensively so he sacrifices Silva to do it

Mahrez needs dropping regardless of his goal - he just disappears every time the game gets tough - he has alvarez and foden on the bench who are both dynamic and a goal threat and both who are also most importantly creative..

We are wining not winning the CL or the Prem this season

Might as well give my season ticket away then.

Can't grumble too much, lack of ability to hold a lead is worrying but I do think we were unlucky with the goal (he basically used Dias as a spring board!)

Not the worst result in the world. Leipzig are a good side however we’ve got the best striker in the world and we refuse to pass to him, no subs again when we’re winning and can’t see a game out, game management is poor

We drew away to a very decent side in the Champions League we didn't fucking lose to Rochdale like some of u sound.

Feels a very meh result. Biggest issue for me was haaland body language in the second half. He is getting visibly annoyed at the lack of service.

Said it earlier that he’ll probably end up at Madrid sooner than we think. Years ago with someone like Sane out wide, he’d probably be fine but it’s not the way we play now.

Result is okay but that's just not good enough overall. We're winning fuck all playing like this.

Peps got us so obsessed with controlling the game that it's now to the detriment of the team. What do we get out of having so much control? We don't create anywhere near as much as we should or used to because of it, we cannot entirely stop teams from having chances and it doesn't tire teams out for us to capitalise on in the second half, so what's the point? If we played to attack rather than just keep the ball we would score far more than we would concede because of it and therefore win more games.

Lack of subs when the game is crying out for changes no longer annoys me, I've just come to accept it now, he does it all the time. Alvarez and foden should have been on after an hour.
