It's absolutely silly how nobody wants to pass to him. Guardiola's tactics have been far too sterile, too much concern about losing possession and control. It's not like we control games well anyway, so might as well go full blast.

Gundo is so over the hill it’s embarrassing, I could run more than him ffs.

We should have spanked Leipzig tonight, they were shite. We scored from a mistake and created fuck all in 90 odd minutes.

Wouldnt surprise me, and I wouldn’t blame him, if Erling fucked us off in the summer.

Decent result but another hugely frustrating game. First half we can talk about control but they let us piss around with it at the back.

Second half was dross, when they attacked more surely was time to bring on our pacy and more dynamic players like Foden and Julian.


It’s like we try not to score half the time, we have become so obsessed with opposition quick transitions we seem to be scared shitless of losing the ball. So instead of passing forward when in dangerous situations we stop and pass back, then retain possession for a couple of minutes before losing it.

Like mentioned this current team is just in general not as good as previous versions.

KDB please get better soon as Haaland needs feeding.
 
Not entirely his fault and fuck me others have to do a lot more too, but without KDB in the team Haaland HAS to change his game, he’s just stood on the last man waiting for something that just won’t come.

For me he has to accomodate Gundo & Bernardo’s way of playing and drop off as much as they have to give the fucker some service.

The balance needs sorting otherwise there’s no point playing Haaland without Kev at the minute.
 
If we don’t have 3/4 quality players coming in the summer I think we are in big trouble next season. Energy, creativity & consistency is seriously lacking with this squad now. A draw away is fine but we don’t even look dangerous anymore
 
Stop with the fucking crying about the foul on Dias or the blatant handball. City start every match down 1-0, due to UEFA and the PL blatantly cheating them. That's not the problem because it's been like that for years, the problem is that Pep seems to have checked out mentally.

Playing with Gundogan as a starter is like being a man down after the first half but he keeps starting him. Playing square passes and back passes make it impossible to utilize their best offensive weapon but that is all they do. Watching them get dominated once their opponent figures them out and they get tired and refusing to bring on a sub is the strangest thing I've ever seen in sports. I can't think of another professional team sport where a manager sees the opposition heating up and does nothing about it. How can you not realize that having some liveliness and creativity is the answer to their problems? If you throw on Alvarez and Foden and take off Gundogan and either Mahrez or Bernie you'd have an attacking team that will open up a defense. Once you're up 2-3 goals in the 2nd half bring on the slower plodding guys with fresh legs to control possession and see the match out.

Not an excuse. New players needed. Creative midfielders who can’t pass to a big no 9 need replaced. Only Kev assists the lad and when he is not on form or not available we look short of ideas.
