The BBC | Tim Davie resigns as Director General over Trump documentary edit (p 187)

will any freelancer ever sign up for the BBC again if they expect to be able to control your social media out put? Is that level of control worth it? There are plenty of other channels out there

Get Vincent Kompany to do it. He'll hopefully be City manager in the next five years and probably has to watch hundreds of hours of highlights for talent spotting purposes. He lives in Manchester where its filmed and he may as well get paid while he's watching/working anyway. Motd could do with a facelift. Get some new young blood in. Vincent has just done a cracking interview on the BBC iplayer.
Kompany has far too much integrity to even consider it.

Lineker can't say the same. That's the point. He's been warned plenty of times re his Twitter.

A Holocaust survivor has experience and gravitas on the subject.

Lineker has neither.
See this is the problem, if you actually read and think about what he said you will realise it references the type of language used in 30's Germany and compares to this shitshow of a government we have, he didn't directly compare the Holocaust. Have a think before you type eh.

Whoever does it is going to be criticised/hated universally. Why would you want that to be Vinnie?
