I believe the BBC contract with the PL limits highlights to max 10 mins per game. MotD could be just put out as a You Tube shorts or a tick tock from now on
 
I used to work for the BBC a long time ago and I love the BBC, it is or was the best public broadcaster in the world. The soft power it created for the UK by its multiple foreign language radio stations was priceless. The TV shows it made has brought billions into the UK economy. Its teaching of technicians was exemplary and it lead to the UK making huge films because we had the technical expertise. For instance nobody has ever made wild life documentaries like Attenborough. Dr Who is massive world wide, some of our comedy shows are legendary.

But the BBC is "woke" what a load of bolloxs, its fucking propaganda so that some Capitalists can get their hands ona successful venture and turn it into another far right fuckwit channel.

If they had told me I could not air my political views, I would have told them to fuck off.

What this kerfuffle does though is give the fascist cunts in charge of our country the opportunity to sell the BBC off to their mates. They have wanted to do it for years. It will happen and treasued institutions like MOTD will be no more. Why else have gone after Lineker.

I quite agree regarding free speech ,as I mentioned initially .
I believe it to be much more important to the furtherance and advancement of society, than simply the usual tribal shouting at politicians,It's how ideas are spread around and tested.
Having said that, not all ideas are of the same value or carry the same weight , he is not someone I personally would seek out for an opinion on anything, others may think differently, but each to their own.
It has now rekindled my feeling annoyance at the the coach wreckers.Time for a chat with Mr Fiddoch Ithink.

no - he shouldn't - but he took the money for Qatar and I've yet to find his boycotting of Newcastle matches since the Saudi takeover. Can you be so highly principled and yet so selective in the targets of your barbs, without being exposed as a hypocrite of the highest order? I don't care about the government, the Beeb or Lineker, they will all fair better than you or me while pretending they give a shit. I like football. I bear you no ill-will either.
