The BBC | Tim Davie resigns as Director General over Trump documentary edit (p 187)

I feel as if I’m in the middle of a Hieronymus Bosch painting… which as everyone knows is the definition of insanity!! The whole world is driving me that way. I’m afraid for the younger generations.
For the first time since I became sick I am glad that I’m old and won’t be around to see what they are making of this world.
With the worst effects of climate change to come, you ain’t seen nothing yet Eccles.

The current contrived spat will pale into comparison if and when populations are forced to cross borders en masse. That will impact on more than a coterie of politicos, luvvies and armchair social warriors in their first world havens.

Glad I won’t be around to see it (but still a glimmer of hope that a solution will be worked out).

Good lord ........

Might just be worth remembering that the process that ends in genocide is not necessarily the exclusive province of either the Left or the Right.

That process is described in this chilling documentary:

As for those supplying the ideology that fuels the descent into tyranny, the same point applies, as no political party necessarily has a monopoly on populism.

Hah that's going right over his head.

That poster has established he's far too fucking thick to understand any of those nuanced points.

The people who you freelanced for obviously thought you was shit as well. Plenty of talent out there: Nedum Onuha for one. Think before you post.

That will be the Nedum Onuha who wasn't on 5Live today? Jeeezz

You need to work on your grammar too

F**k me! He just needs a white cat and they've found the next Bond villain.

They’ll still tell folk “who don’t want to know the score to look away now” on the 10 o’clock news, as if Satellite TV and the internet have not been invented. BBC going the way of the dinosaur. Ciao.

And up the Blues.

I don’t mind the punditry on MOTD. I get why some on here would want it more in depth, but it’s audience aren’t all as big a fans as those you’d have on an online forum. I think they’ve been fair to us over the last few seasons and more giving of praise to us than some others have.

I have a much bigger issue with the punditry given on sky. Given that’s a dedicated sports channel and does give the time to go in depth, I find the level of analysis on there mostly appalling.
