Different option IMO. It’s hard to watch a game like last weekend and not wish for a bit more quality on the ball. However, there is no doubt Ake is a different level as a defensive full back.
He's better. Think of that ball over the top for Haaland first half. If that was Cancelo all the fanboys ( not many left now) would have been raving. And as you say defensively he's absolutely a different level.

Got to be said commentary when we play is shocking.

Same every game, back handed, snide comments.

First half analysis wasn't a Pen, second was a foul etc,Ederson should have seen Red etc etc

Tomorrow night they will wank them selves silly over the Candle waivers.
Same commentators that will conveniently stay completely silent live on air when Fabinho makes his fifth red card challenge in the match.

The ball pressure we put on opposition teams in the latter stages of games (especially when we're winning) will never not be lost on me.

That GK probably punched his defender on purpose, his anger building up with every goal is more than reasonable.

Loved the one tonight from Darke about Mahrez being bought by Leicester for £400k, then sold to us for £60mil.

TBF Cancelo would have played that ball with the outside of his right foot. :-)
