Not really. Pep just puts us above the likes of real in this situation. If you read haalands previous words he said that you can't move to a club for a manager because that manager could be sacked. I think the release clause was to protect him for example of we hired a manager who esentially didn't work or fit. Kind of like the shit show have done previously over at the swamp

Guardiola signing for Bayern came out of the Italian press because he spoke to Berlusconi about why he was turning down AC Milan.

It’s incredibly easy to imagine how Barca/Real friendly journalist would find out about this, or any journalist with ties to Pep, Txiki, Soriano, Berrada or Pere Guardiola.

It's true. The RC was only valid in seasons 23/24 and 24/25 IF City changed first team manager before 1st September 23.
 
That’s also probably why they were pushing the within two years he’ll be leaving. Vain hope that that option gets activated, pep walks and they can pick him up.

Sadly for them peps gone to war and haaland loves it
 
Just watched the match again against RBL and damn this guy has scary potential. Already a beast but there is so much more to come. We definitely have a future Ballon d'Or winner in our hands.

If we can continue integrate Haaland into the team (and vice versa) like we did in this match, we are going to have a lot of joy over the next few years.

Makes me a bit sad as long Haaland in there, Foden will never get a Ballon dor. Imagine our own local academy boy finally get the ultimate personal awards.

Haaland lives and breathes the game and by all reports completely devoted to football. You won't hear any negative stories of him outside of the game.

Foden went through a few things so if he can knuckle down and have the same drive and dedication as Haaland then there isn't any reason why he can't win it himself one day.
