Unsure where that is. I drank in The Willowbank on Smithdown Road.

1982, in point of fact.7 pages in and only 2 people have mentioned Duckingfield.
One who hasn't been since 1980 and one who simply, but bizarrely, only mentions Morrisons.
It would be wrong to say its the land that time forgot as time never knew about it in the first place.

4 (four) 3 plus 1 = 4 no way. Not a chance. 3 yes, you 3. Me, never. I mean, you went 43 years ago and you're still in rehab.1982, in point of fact.
and @Pablo123 makes 3 of us, plus your good self = 4
which i'd say, out of 66 posts is, in point of fact, a very healthy percentage and may well sway the o.p. in its favour.
we can only hope.

I couldn’t get comfortable there.Possibly stretching the hour limit but had a really nice weekend in Settle last summer. Only problem is pretty much everywhere there has a 2 night stay minimum.
Went there for my Auntie’s 70th last month and it’s a cracking restaurant.Lymm some nice pubs and restaurants and a few nice walks.
La Boheme being a lovely restaurant.
Do you mean Hale?Hale Barnes.
Went there last week with my Sister looking for some charity shops, a coffee, and a cake.
No charity shops. Loads of restaurants and bars. In fact, the whole high street was full of restaurants and bars.
The place is absolutely dripping with money. The restaurants and bars were full.
That being the case, I would assume the restaurants are pretty decent. Rich people expect good food and good service.
Check restaurants reviews for Hale Barnes.
Can't comment on the eateries but I have spent a good few hours over the years watching what happens at the Town Square traffic lights, never seen any trouble, looks safe to me.Jackson Hole has some pretty good places to eat, about 40 mins east of here
