Yes, I didn't read in your original post that you were suggesting we were better off without him. I'd like to see more of Alvarez to be honest, he's a much better overall footballer rather than just a target man.

Special mention for Jack , who I criticised for not getting enough goals ,I thought he was outstanding today with a goal and an assist

It's been like that for a long while though, some people think we're so much better than everybody else that we should win every match by 4 or 5 goals and slag whoever are the scapegoats for the day when we don't.

I often wonder how many titles we've won after losing so-called "must win" games.
 
Despite playing well and being the better side, I feared the worst when they scored. was too simple, Felt it would be repeated and didn't see who was going to step up for us. Needn't have worried as the entire team to a man stepped up. Pre-match I asked who would be our match winner if they hound out kdb, we didnt need one as we saw a complete team performance like we saw from us during our absolute best over the last few seasons. 3 points was all that mattered but we sent a message too and now we need that level every game for the rest of the season.

Hes ave really when attacking , never overlaps, hes hood at crossing but thats a limited tool in todays game

Great that we have two excellent strikers and we can change our style to suit. Haaland will always be our number one and rightly so but for this gane Julian in my eyes was always gonna be My preference infact a false would have done Liverpool today. Watching klopps interview afterwards is the sign of a man ready to walk .

Some excellent individual performances today, but a superb team performance where every player played their part.

Had a few reservations before the game , as I always detest playing these cunts and the rags in case we lose to them, but after conceding the goal and then Jack's superb tracking back, the whole game turned on it's head and we took complete control of the game.

Always great to beat the dippers, but outplaying them as we did, just provided the icing on the cake.

Well done to the whole team and management .
