£7 a pint in Brighton

Brighton revels in its nickname - London by the Sea . A louche resort - home of the Brighton Rock Graham Greene novel with 1930s razor gangs. Later on site of dirty weekends. £7 a pint - not surprised at all - 18 months ago £6 a pint was the norm for London. Best stick to Spoons there or carry out to London parks.

Can well believe it. I had a mate from near there visit me in Galway over the summer, he'd been in Dublin for a stag do first and I asked him what he made of the prices in Dublin.....found it no different from Brighton
Its more expensive in the centre where tourist's head. We paid £8 a pint in the Temple Bar pub.
I'm going to Bucharest in a couple of months and its £1 a pint there.

Lol. They must take a fortune as its always rammed in there as well.
Now that I can remember it was actually Gogartys but yes, that same area.
It was a Saturday afternoon last May and there was some live music on. I get that it's all part of the "experience" but that price was taking the piss! Lol

paid close to that in stockport on saturday at Spinning Top music venue
free to get so i guess more you drink more you give for artists ( Status Quo tribute )

Was in Minsk in 05, Mars bars cost more than a beer. 20p iirc. Vodka wasn’t much more. The 5 days are a blur.

13 dollars for a pint of Coors at the basketball last week. Not bad as heard Lakers charge around 20
