You could justify anyone in the team, I went for Ruben Dias what a difference this fella makes a natural leader and he had a belter.
 
I don’t see Upamecano.

No in all seriousness I voted Ake because Bayern couldn’t get anything down the right side, and I just continue to be impressed with a lad who was a bit of an afterthought at one time has worked to become the best defensive left back in the Prem.

But every last player brought something crucial in this game. Silva’s work rate matched Jack’s, Dias and Stones were bloody stonewalls, Gundo was everywhere, Rodri with the lovely lefty curler, Erling never got frustrated kept pressing and was there to make this a fucking deep hole for BM to climb out of. I’m a proud fan today.
 
Went for Ake as I thought he was on the end of everything today - he was absolutely superb. I could easily have picked Dias though as he was just immense - when he's in this form, he is the best defender and leader in the world.

I also thought Grealish, Haaland and Silva were superb as well - in fact the whole team was, it's impossible to pick out a MOTM!
 
Bernardo. Set the tone and gave Davies a nightmare

All the team were great, but Dias literally saved 2 goals and won every individual duel. Not to mention that it was his comeback that made us solid on defense again.
 
Bernardo Silva. Gave one of the fastest wingbacks in the world twisted blood. Megged and put on his arse more than once. Completely nullified his attacking threat by taking him to school.
