First ever Manchester Derby final

Probably be different to most on here but I’d take winning the fa cup over winning the league now. We can go and win the league again next season, not sure there’ll ever be another Manchester derby FA Cup final - this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Confident we’ll smash the fuckers if they play like they did today

Had a city fan call in on 5 live saying she's dreading it because of the potential toxicity of this game, said the Sheff u fans were bad enough after the game yesterday. Not heard anything about this, but she said they were really bad
Didn’t see any trouble at all and all the sheff united fans we met were class. Train back was 90% city but good banter with the sheff united fans on it. We walked back thru their fans to Wembley Central also and all good

A different perspective - but i can defo see your reasoning

Anyone remember what it was like last time? Hardly any reds on the train down to Euston last time, so didn't see much trouble.

Wonder if it'll be different this time round with them being success starved for a while, this'll be their biggest game in about 9 or 10 years, especially given it's one rung to a potential treble for us.

If we do them there'll be some serious tantrums from these melts, so keep your wits about you post game on Wembley way etc.

Hopefully the presentation and celebrations will give enough time for one set of fans ( hopefully them ) to have fucked off away from the ground

Did you go to the villa league cup final? My kids will never leave til our last player has left the pitch so we left as late as anyone but still encountered thousands of villa fans after, a good proportion of them behaving like cunts, mouthy rather than fighting though. Same with Watford, encountered thousands of them after the match, they just happened to be well behaved, a credit to their club

Yes and I’m not doubting anybody’s stories. When you put 90,000 people together and a high proportion of them are pissed up males, there are bound to incidents of twatish behaviour.

I was replying to a post talking specifically about the walk down to Wembley Park tube station after the game.
