Season Tickets - 2023/24

Fucking hell I am out of here. As I said a pound week and the word disgusted??! Not for me.

You can't be this tone deaf?

It's not a pound a week when everything else is also going up.

Is it a pound a week if I also attend with my son?

Let's call it £2 a week shall we?

So that's an extra £96 a year on top of what people already stretch to with City, and before the council tax, mortgages, gas, electricity, food and phone increases.

The average UK household has experienced a jump of an extra £500 a month in outgoings since last August.

Spent nearly £4,000 on City this year for every game and enjoyed it much more than in the 70s when I paid £17 in the Kippax. CITD. Season tickets were only EVER for home games so why are you adding cup games to it???

If you can afford £4K, fair play to you. Not going to criticize you. I’ve had to make choices. Bayern and Madrid away have gone. The FA Cup final and CL final, hopefully, have made the cut.

I agree with him. The outrage doesn't match the reality. But hey ho, go for it.

As I said a pound a week and disgusted?? It’s a pound a week no matter what you say!

Not for me, doesn’t warrant use of Tone Deaf. The outrage seems way way over the top.

Kevin Parker...........oh yeah he's happy in the tunnel club and a fist full of away tickets

Allegedly. Careful!

Kev reminds me of powerful Trade Union leaders.

A job for life and always available for social events.

The outrage on here is crackers mate

It’s a joke to be honest. I find it hard to comprehend when I see hotels booked up left right and centre. Airports packed at half term and kids walking round with £1500 i phones that people can start slagging the club off for a £1 pound a week increase? At ten pound an hour / takes 6 minutes a week to earn that expense! Spent longer than that moaning about it! Staggering.

This thread is scary. To see so many turning against the club at this crucial stage in the season is really bad.
club did not need to release this now.

Fans just paid out for 2 semi finals an FA cup final due and possibly a CL Final.
im personally not fussed but after paying £130 for 2 Madrid tickets the timing is piss poor

The best ones are like "Ive been to every home and away game for the past 20 years but I cant afford a season ticket". Bizarre.

You want success, you need to help pay for it. You can't rant on here about UEFA fucking with us about FFP and then not expect prices to go up when prices everywhere are rising. They need to make the books balance if you want players like Haaland.

With all the fucking moaning across these threads today I think some would just prefer we were back at Maine Road struggling to stay in the Championship, that way there would be plenty of tickets left for every game and the prices would be cheaper.

I get people are skint these days but the club is a business and not a charity, our owners have done so much for us all over the years. Some of the bile on here over the last two days has gone beyond understandable frustration and into spoilt entitlement.

Just say City averaged ecery ticket at 20 quid next season... could they

53000 x £20 is £1,060,000
X19 games = £20,140,000

+sponsorship
+Advertising
+TV money
+Game by game hospitality
+everything else that comes in

Less overheads
And laser shows
And FFP...

Could we survive and compete?
How many Ed Sheran gigs would we need to hold?

Joking aside. The club should be doing everything possible to avoid costs being loaded onto fans. Everything. If the club are or are not in breach of FFP and other Premier League rules, then a lot of annoyed fans (not customers) should claim refunds for fan reputation being dragged through mud by Dominies Pizza, PaddyPower, the media etc. City Matters, my arsenal!

Errr, I can’t quite put my finger on it but I just don’t feel he’ll fit with our squad. Not scientific I know or even a footballing reason just a gut feeling. Sorry. :-)

No need to apologise. We all have different opinions on players. I’ve personally not seen anything that would put me off us giving him a go but who knows how it would work out?
