Dislike this stage of the season because you know some of them are playing with one eye on the fuel gauge. Don’t blame them, what with the games coming up, it’s just that it makes it even harder to watch than normal.

As Pep said, players want to play every game even if they are tired, so they're not going to him and ask to be rested.

I`m a little worried with the defence and although they`ve hardly been in our box, we don`t look comfortable at times. Other than Mahrez not doing much, not much too change so far.
What a fucking rip off from City. How dare you only pay £14M for that no hoper of an Argentinian World Cup Winner. ;)

Alvarez and Mahrez have been brilliant,
Jack could have scored a worldy,
Haland gave their defence a run for their money,
Rodri sensational as usual,
Dias a bit sloppy

I remember some being upset we sold Jesus and replaced him with an “untried Argentinian kid”
As soon as i saw Alvarez bag a double hat-trick i thought we'd signed someone special. Jesus is a good striker but he needs too chances on goal to ever become a top striker. Alvarez is already a much better striker and he's only going to get better.

We defo need another goal here as Fulham will score again . Mahrez needs to make way for silva or foden and gundo looks off the pace aswell .

Reckon Phil on for Jack in the second half would help us control the match a bit more.

Jack looks less sharp, physically and mentally, likely due to being tired.

Ruben needs to calm down a bit and Eddie needs to do the opposite.

Riyad hasn’t been bad, but he hasn’t really done much of note, either.

Apart from that, we played pretty well.

Erling, as always, is inevitable. Doesn’t matter which way a keep goes on a penalty, as long Haaland keeps the penalty down, it finds the back of the net.

Julian has to be one of the best striker acquisitions in the last decade. He’s a cross of Kev, Kun, and Carlos. Absolutely brilliant talent that rarely ever goes below 7 out of 10 and can pop up with a sublime goal or assist when you need it.

Rodri again very good throughout but also looking a bit knackered. Shame Phillips hasn’t given Pep confidence he can do a job against the likes of Fulham so the Spanish giants can get a rest.

I think we’ll go out in the second half a play a bit more possession and pick our moments to attack, making them chase shadows and then turn the knife in the last 15 minutes if we need to.

How much did Alvarez cost us btw?
Must of been at least 105m euros, same as what Chelsea paid for their World Cup winner, City spend £zillions on the biggest squad in the whole wide world.

Just checked , the above is confirmed by the WhatsApp wankers and everyone at the Guardian, including the cleaners!
