Fulham (A) | PL | Post-Match Thread

I wish the club would come out and once and for all be totally transparent on away allocations. It very obvious that the so called 60% that goes to points holders, 20% to branches etc is bullshit! Maybe someone at City Matters can ask the question and we can have clarity once and for all.
We were out sung by Fulham. The ticket allocation couldn’t have been right or too many Blues can’t handle squeaky bum time.

I couldn’t go to this match due to personal circumstances but watched on the hoc and didn’t hear Fulham fans once. Ticket allocation has been one part of the organisation thats in need of a total overhau. Wait till Brentford away and see what level of points that sells out on.

Hopefully, the lucky buggers with Chelsea (H) tickets will be the ones to enjoy THE party. That said, a nice jolly to Brentford, in the sun, to appreciate the lads, would be “A Grand Day Out!”

Fulham made a racket throughout much of the second half that was a credit to them. The City die hards didn’t stop singing but not enough joining in.

I wasn’t there. I listened to the game on the radio. I haven’t been to a game in several years that hasn’t reached my points. Credit to anyone who manages to get a ticket though. The system would be fine if it worked and the quota allocations were followed. Thst would require ID checks though and those who spout nonsense about the integrity of the points system wouldn’t accept it.

My stream was the exact opposite.
Never heard the Fulham fans bar the booing of Jack.

Strange. All I could hear was the city fans. Picked up the newish song too which I’m told is to “rhythm is a dancer”

Love the way we are using well known tracks - & other clubs’ fans are copying us

Out sung by Fulham? I was there and I thought our support was tremendous as always. Hardly heard Fulham, and I thought their support was pathetic. In terms of City fans joining in the majority absolute were. Our tickets were a 2 and a 1 yesterday so my lads were in a different part of the away section and we all thought our support was brilliant (extremely loud) and Fulham’s abysmal. We’re you there or were you watching on Sly?

For fucks sake. So....where I was sitting in RowSS P5, other than a handful of Blues (some of whom I recognised) I was surrounded by tourists. I was so pissed off, at half time I actually counted how many seats in my direct vicinity were tourists and stopped counting at 38. To make sure I was being fair and not judging anyone unfairly because they were wearing a fucking half and half scarf or didn't know any of the songs, I actually spoke to many of them - and found; a group of Israelis who had purchased tickets through an 'agency' from their hotel concierge, a family from South Korea who had bought the tickets on 'Livefootyonline.com", or something, and five lovely folks from Japan who had paid the most extraordinary money from another online tout to be there.

Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE the fact we are now attracting support from across the globe and we have a lovely global fan base. God bless them all. BUT who the hell is selling their tickets to these touts to deprive genuine loyal Blues from getting away tickets??

It's appalling, and the Club simply doesn't seem to give a fuck.
It showed Alvarez's goal from where the Fulham keeper was standing, and when it hit the net there were loads of City fans who barely celebrated, wtf. Even on sky when he scored it panned to the City end and two lads on the front row were just looking at each other stood up with omg expressions on their faces, but barely celebrating.
That says to me it was tourist central in the city end yesterday

I’ve said I listed non the radio. They came across as Fulham making a racket.

Anyway, I’m glad I’ve “United” the blue moaners by saying Fulham outsung us is in second half. Tue commentators a said the same btw

Don't look back in anger Noel.

Give the club the seat numbers. I've done it previously, including when we've sold out the away end but there was a row of empty seats.

No idea what the club do, but if these are "corporate" seats getting resold on the tout market it's a criminal offence (as is even giving away your own ticket).

We were sat with the Fulham fans but towards the City end. Their support didn't out sing City: they hardly sang. Our lot got a bit quiet when it was getting a bit tense, which is fair enough. For a small contingent, I thought our support was very good.

I'm going to watch the TV coverage of the full match shortly so will see if I got this wrong.

I accept your view but the commentators said City were quiet 2nd half and that’s how it came over on the radio. It sounded like Fulham were raising the roof towards the end.

I read one of your posts, the one I responded to. I was there so I can comment on what I heard for 90 mins. The City fans were excellent, the Fulham fans were shite. Don’t give a fuck what the commentators you listened to said, the media are hardly unbalanced to us. Have a read of OB1’s post who was also there and not in the City end
