Sometimes momentum and confidence is everything in football and now McAtee is full of it, time to take advantage.I'd loan him back to Sheffield United for another season and see how he goes on playing consistent PL-level football.

I know what you mean. By now, I'm firmly in the camp that doesn't expect anything from our signings in the first 9/12 months so Erling has been a welcome success very early for me!Do you think we would finish lower if we have Kalvin Philips minutes to any of our youngsters ? :)
IF we lose Gundo and Bernardo then McAtee should get some minutes. He's the closest I've seen to Gundo's skillset out of what we have. Obviously not at Gundo level yet but the tools are there. Has that ability to arrive in the area like Gundo too.Reminds me of a Dortmund Gundo, just left footed.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Palmer goes out on loan and Mcatee gets a chance with the fist team next season. If he does suspect he’ll make a better fist of taking it.
