Stay with it Blue, when they put a limited amount on sale, throw your hat in. There was a rumour the club had targeted ‘New’ supporters for season tickets last year, if that was the case maybe it would be better to call the ticket office with an unregistered number, and start afresh with memberships/accounts etc, you can still keep your old one. Get in the queue early online, get ringing early, get a new membership now, and don’t give up, I was a lapsed STH & did all of the above (mainly by accident not knowledge) and I got oneMy biggest regret in life was giving up my season ticket. I don't think I have a realistic chance of getting one (even for one seat on my own) now until the North Stand expansion.
Actually there is... buying Matchday membership gets you in the "queue" then there is a sliding scale based on points to when you can get a chance to buy a season ticket, well that's the way it's been for the last few years at least..
That generates a confirmation email (for back up) if you do it now, a reason not to have to sit & wait (anxiously) till the date passes, my ST’s are ready to add to wallet, I haven’t yet as I’ll be changing seats, but it felt better to get it outta the way, especially as we’ve got so much football to come, it would be easy to forgetIt’s one of the few things that City’s ticketing software seems to have consistently managed to do well without too many horror stories.
But I do fear the day when I may need to change the DD to a different account - that’s guaranteed to be an adventure!
I’m in a similar situation - gave up season ticket in Stuart Pearce days when Dad lost his job. We went on to membership and used friends season tickets on and off so haven’t built up much for fifteen years. Do you remember what points you had when you got back in? I’m on 2,750 and not sure where that would place me on waiting list. CheersStay with it Blue, when they put a limited amount on sale, throw your hat in. It was nothing to do with points last season, unless they change the criteria now they’ve hooked many thousands into buying memberships (can’t see it) your point’s literally count for nothing & not worth hanging on too that low, I’d start again & get a new membership now, you can always go back to your old one (for the points) in the future, if you’re not successful, you’ll only lose a few points, it’s worth a tryI’m in a similar situation - gave up season ticket in Stuart Pearce days when Dad lost his job. I stand corrected, last year it was a free for all. That definitely isn’t the way they’ve done it over the last few years.

And a last 10 minutes season ticket, to fill the empty leavers' seats. Is there a walking back into town after the match season ticket?
Would add up to two games a season! Does my head in seeing people leave so early. And a last 10 minutes season ticket, to fill the empty leavers' seats.
I can't get my head around it, i pay for it, im paying for every minute. It's not just 10 mins before the end, it's 10 mins before halftime to queue for a pint, then 10 mins after the 2nd half kicks off. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them only watch about 50-60 mins of football. I'd rather stay at home and watch on the telly if that's what i was doing.Would add up to two games a season! Cheers for the response. I’ll try my luck after the relocates. Not stressed as I assume at least a few will be released after the north stand expansion, although I’m sure they would prefer to sell most of those to day trippers who burn money in the shop.It was nothing to do with points last season, unless they change the criteria now they’ve hooked many thousands into buying memberships (can’t see it) your point’s literally count for nothing & not worth hanging on too that low, I’d start again & get a new membership now, you can always go back to your old one (for the points) in the future, if you’re not successful, you’ll only lose a few points, it’s worth a try
I think they will only release Silver season tickets for the North Stand expansion. They can then sell the individual ‘big’ games at inflated prices.Cheers for the response. I don't doubt that some will have genuine reasons for leaving early and absolutely sympathise with those like you in the position where it's not a choice. However, I stand by my view that I will never understand those others who choose to leave with a lot of time remaining in a match. Will agree to disagree on that.Comments like these amaze me! I mean why would somebody else care that much what everyone else is upto!. Just watch the match. You probably miss the last 5 minutes yourself by watching the early leavers and gossiping about it to strangers next to you
I work shift work, some weeks i start at 10:30pm (in town) and other times i have to be up at 4:30am for work the following morning! So what an inconvenience all these late night matches are for my work life! Half of them were meant to be on a weekend!
But i support the boys as best i can and still attend and if i have to leave 5 minutes early to make sure i can afford next seasons season ticket by attending work then ill do it! Shoot me now
Once you've ordered your "new" value gold, do you cancel your renewal of last years?Cant complain £330. Think it is my sixth season of value gold. Had brilliant seats every time. Equivalent renewal cost of the seat I’ve just had was £880.
Bizarrely I could renew that and buy a value gold should I have wanted.
