We might not even need to do anything. Arsenal have to play Forest before we play and if they don't win that game, it will be over before we have even kicked a ball.
Just for once I’d be happy with that, the Chelsea game would turn into a carnival. knowing Sly would be fuuumin having their end of season stage managed title race ruined would be sweet

OK but after that table, they have won 2 of their last 7. That's very poor form, not just the odd bad result.

We piled the pressure on and they shit the bed.
And we still have the game in hand! They've shat the bed/run out of steam in the last month. The opinion of them bottling it and us being relentless aren't mutually exclusive, both are true.

Up the blues!

As long as you don’t do anything silly and build for a campaign next year including CL, you’ll keep progressing. My only criticism of Arteta is he’s too emotional.
...and it runs over into his team.

I think we broke them when they were having a week off, and we battered bayern, while all their players probably sat and watched, I said so at the time.

Well done City. It is what it is, I hope you go onto win the treble now that we cant win the league. I have no animosity towards you lot and prefer you over Utd/Liverpool/Chelsea etc

Some on here have got a problem with your club, for various reasons which may or may not be valid, but I never have had.
I stood on the North Bank and saw Ian Ure (would you believe?) play. I also had the honour of being attacked on the North Bank (it was just fisticuffs, really, over in thirty seconds). No problems. Much, much rather have been in a race with you than with that feral lot that support Liverpool. Or that other lot over in Trafford Park.

I’m not sure we do. If it’s confirmed on Saturday as a result of the Arsenal game then yes but if we need to beat Chelsea to clinch it, I have a feeling it may not happen until Brentford. Something tells me it has to confirmed at the start of the day for a team to get the trophy before the last day of the season.
I’d love it if I’m wrong about that.
Apparently last season, at the final game, they had the real trophy at the Etihad and a replica at the Dippers game, not knowing which team would win. So they're perfectly capable of making the necessary contingency arrangements. If they choose to do so or not, I've no idea, but they'll know we might win the title against Chelsea so can definitely have the necessary arrangements in place should we do so. It doesn't have to be 100% sure those arrangements will be needed. They weren't needed for Liverpool last season.

Raz to miss a 1v1 in the last minute next weekend when we’re 2-1 up? Nobody would bat an eyelid
The mighty Manchester City, 1-1 in the last minute against that shower of shite???? No chance, we’ll be 5 up by the time Raz gets anywhere near a 1 on 1!!!!

Heck mate that a bit harsh…. Those people from the support staff thoroughly deserve their moment…. They are critical to everything we achieve. I for one would want to applaud and thank them.
Point taken and I agree that every cog in the machine no matter how small contributes to the wider success. But for me we widen the net too far and having to go thru the motions politely applauding all and sundry detracts from the fun of the occasion.

Maybe if we brought the first team squad and coaching set up out first that would work better

After 38 games?

To reach 90 points from our current position, City are going to have to drastically improve our PPG from by 0.21. Basically we need 38 points from a possible 42, which realistically is 13 wins from 14 games (or 12 wins and a couple of draws). Arsenal are currently running at 2.35 PPP - to reach 90 points from their current position, they only need to increase their PPG to 2.37. 36 points from a possible 45, which is roughly 12 wins from 15 games. United are getting giddy but they will need to win basically all of their remaining games to reach 90 points. Arsenal have a lot more breathing room and, as a result, United dropping points in even one game will rule them out almost completely. Only a massive Arsenal collapse will give United a chance of getting back in.

I think City are looking at about 80-85 points based on how previous seasons have turned out and how our PPG rate is working out so far. Whether that's enough to win the title depends on other teams. It'll definitely be enough for 3rd and most likely will be enough for 2nd. I really would like us to go all out for the FA Cup and Champions League. Finishing in the top 4 and having a good cup run would be superb season.
Huge shock, this. Really didn't think our run of form nor Arsenal's run of form were possible. This turnaround has been unbelievable, so too has Arsenal's collapse.

Gary is completely right here...absolutely stupid from Micah. If they cant win vs fucking southampton at home without saliba then they should not be trying for a title in the first place

Gary got this one. City had their own issues. The record with Dias and without is pretty revealing. Race would have been totally different with full health. Arsenal had that except for Jesus until they got run into ground.
