Going to be a scrum for CL places.

I suspect Newcastle will be our challenge next season but, the other CL places?

Brighton if they keep the team and manager will be bubbling about.

Villa under Emery if with FFP can spend a bit make sneak into a spot too.

Can the dips pick up slightly?

Arse will be lucky with the over achievement this season to get a top six.

Spurs will be spurs and be somewhere around if Kane says.

Chelsea have too big a gap to make up no matter what the chairman spends.

The #SOPP thread will be trending by the time they drop into the Europa and will be lucky to get a top 8 place.

Anyone else? Think Brentford will have reached their limit this season.

Top 6 23/34

1. City
2. Newcastle
3. Dips
4. Villa/Brighton

The others above all in the top 10.

Chelsea will probably be in the top four, maybe just in 4th. Pochettino managed to get Spurs into the top four quite consistently, and while there is a gap and there will be teething problems, he knows the League and he still has some good players at his disposal. Without European distractions, they might just surprise some.

A bit daft to predict before anyone knows who is coming and going.
One thing is that I don't think Arsenal's probable failure is necessarily a predictor of next season. Often good teams fall short before they do well. Peps first season wasn't exactly crowned with glory.

Based on the look of the squads and ability to recruit, I think City Liverpool Utds (Newcastle and rags) Chelsea and Arsenal will all compete for top four. Anyone else would be a surprise for me.

If we lose Gundoghan and Bernardo quality of recruitment and very importantly speed of adaptation of their replacements is vital. We revolve around midfield and we have less depth their than anywhere else in the squad

Brighton, if they get Europe, will struggle with the extra games.
Brentford will drop back down as well, teams have largely adjusted to them and Toney will be missing.
Newcastle will have to get their transfer business spot on, they've been great this season but they're badly in need of both quality and depth.
Spurs need to massively improve, Kane has had the best season of his career and it wasn't enough to even have them threatening top 4 by the run in.

City
Dippers
Arsenal
Newcastle
Rags
Chelsea

In that order for the top 6.

Worth bearing in mind that the past coefficient thing comes into place next season.

So England essentially gets 5 Champions League places, farcical to be honest.

So an extra place for English clubs,in part due to us and I’ll include them liverpool doing so well over the last 5-6 years in it ..

1st. City
2nd. Lfc - they quietly improved
3rd. Utd - carried by the media and refs
4th. Chelsea
5th. Newcastle - they're not as technically good as I thought, they have the passion certainly.
6th. Brighton

10th. Spurs
11th. Burnley

City
Liverpool
Man U
Chelsea

Order could vary depending on incoming and outgoing players. Our squad, in particular, could look very different after this season.

City and liverpool top two.
I see our dipper friends are on a good run at the moment and might continue that into next season.
God only knows which of the others will get the other places.
I think that as a top 5 position next year will get champions league places, you might see a few more teams in the mix.

City
Scousers
Arsenal
utd
Teams not in CL or any European football will have a big advantage. I think Arsenal may well miss out. Lots will depend on outgoings and incomings

I suspect Dippers and Chelsea will be in the top 4 and one other in addition to City
