In my humble opinion they (that is the old cartel clubs) could see this day coming it matters little that most of the charges will be withdrawn and if they find us guilty of anything it will be a procedural error and a small fine

However I have never believed this was about this, it is an attempt to tarnish the clubs name, and creating a narrative that we are cheats you can read some of the media cheerleaders implying this right now, you only have to read another football foru and they are spouting the same thing, your average fan believes what he want's to believe, the truth does not come in to it

I've never been one to curtail press freedom, but this is not about free speech it's a tactic employed to tarnish the club and prevent City taking a bigger market share (fans from overseas are notoriously fickle) I hope that the club come out fighting

At the start they were saying could take 3/4 years! Then you read 95% of those charges are now been sorted, we don’t know when it be sorted! Certain people in the media will love it if it drags on another 3/4 years so they can write in the bile they do now into every article..

Twitter is awash with Arsenal, utd and Liverpool fans all cryarsing about the delay in finding us guilty. Even had a Rangers fan bleating about us being cheating bastards. Of all the clubs!

No charges have been dropped. No charges have been 'sorted'. Zero.

People have run away with a lot of false claims bases on echoes of echoes of whispers of echoes, of primarily you tube vlogs of people with a bit of legal knowledge.

The club is confident. In public, and it seems in private too if you believe what you read. But that is the only thing to go by in terms of feeling positive.

Which is good enough for me.

Totally different, Ivan Toney pleaded guilty to most if not all of those charges.

Let the media and fans of other clubs say what they want. If we win the league on Sunday, I'm not going to hold off my celebrations in case we get find guilty and it's tainted. The same with the FA cup, the same with the CL.

I care about what we do on the pitch and how I'll feel there and then, not how some twat on Twitter or in the Guardian or on Talksport (that I only see by being on here) says I should feel.

They don’t have a case, FFP is applied retroactively.

The Premier League can’t look at Chelsea’s spending for example and sanction them because they can’t afford it - no one knows what they can afford until they submit their books.

Everton’s books were looked at last year and were just about OK, if they fail for this season then it’s a matter for when those books are looked at, not earlier.
