PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Every man and his dog is now on about the charges, asterisks etc etc after it had been noted the story had cooled for the last month or so.

Very bizarre.

Could be a final hurrah to get more clicks traction and anti City bile before this nonsense ends in defeat and humiliation for the instigators.
Think its more to do with his lifting the Premier league trophy on Sunday.
It's really took off since.

It will probably end with a summer of riots if we win the treble at this rate

I await the first question after we stuff United, so Pep these 115 charges, cunts I remember after the Watford game, Pep was fuming, same will happen after the CL final if we win that as well.

Isn’t it strange that we don’t know how many charges Everton have against them?

The PL just announced they’ve been charged, no breakdown, no grand total.
Apparently it was announced back in March but your post was the first I'd heard of it. All we've heard since our charges were announced in February is 100+ this, 100+ that. And yet no one cares about us?

Interesting that Richard Masters, PL CEx, was at the Etihad on Sunday to present the trophy and medals to City as 2022/23 Champions.

Hard to believe that words were not exchanged between him and the City hierarchy over the FFP charges especially in the absence of representatives of teams in red or those others pushing for sanctions against City.

Richard Masters had nowhere to hide and will have been exposed. He may have been told some home truths that left him looking unhappy and leading to Peps statement about wanting the PL to bring a quick conclusion to the charges.
He looked like someone with a dose of the shits that was stuck out on the pitch when he could feel the next bout coming on.

I would like to think that is because he heard some 'hard truths' - I tend to think that it was more him thinking about how to best serve his real employers

Over inflated sponsors!! I am sure I read somewhere that raggies shirt sponsors could no longer afford to pay it so the raggies gave them the money to do it!! It was all over the papers wasn’t it??

I’d say Masters knows he’s on borrowed time. The wheels are coming off, pressure to resolve the charges is piling on and the PL clearly haven’t any compelling evidence and City seemingly not providing anything else.
