Lets assume that Madrid offered him £400k a week, he is a known City fan who had the chance to play for us, not only that but also to play under Pep and with a genuine chance of clearing up a serious amount of silverware over the next 5 years. With this in mind do people really think that we topped it up by another £435k on top just to make sure we got him.

And that's before we talk about the supposed £50 million signing on fee split between him and Alfie.

The same people then claim he will walk away from this to go and play for Madrid in a couple of years, almost like they can't decide which bullshit to believe.

I think it may have come up as a result of that, as they only talked to us about it in 2015. If that's the case then I doubt it would have come up as part of the 2014 settlement, although Fordham had been around since May 2012.

My best guess would be that they saw that image rights payments had disappeared from our returns and questioned it, or that they queried why Fordham paid us £25m.

In the case of (2), our owner certainly invested his own wealth to get us established and get us to the point where we could rely on the revenue we generate, and we can do that.

But does (1) remind you of anyone?

What next?
We all know that in the eyes of the red shirted wankers we will still be guilty but fuck them it’s the media I want our club to go after.
After all the shite they have peddled for months/years surely we can’t all go back to being friends again.
I’d like to see the culprits banned from pressers and refuse to talk to tv/radio who have or tried to ruin our reputation as a club. Or maybe even claims against them for slander.
I know the club has obligations but we should reign it in as tight as we are allowed
As they’ve all jumped on the bandwagon through fear of backlash from the establishment i.e rags dippers.

The prick sacked the only competent , title challenging manager they have had for about 30 years, said it before-he wears the Tottenham badge round his neck like a beastie boy does with a VW badge. He's still of the illusion that spurs are a big hitter-a club who have consistently sold their best players for 30 years. He thinks he's sat at the table with the red shirts-they load the gun and he fires the bullets.

Agree but spuds have never had a title challenging manager that I can remind of.
