That would be more apt.
His car collection and two super yachts are worth more than his total investment at City. He’s made a fortune on City. I think he made over a billion profit when helped Barclays through the financial crisis in 2008.
State owned my arse.
Why are you lot getting so wound up about Simon Jordan?
The only people who listen to that station are dim witted white van drivers while on a break from wolf whistling at women on the street.

I came across the term "outrage porn" the other day https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outrage_porn (and before anyone asks, I was reading a book called 'The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F*ck' which talks about it).Why are you lot getting so wound up about Simon Jordan?

In general use, outrage porn is a term used to explain media that is created not in order to generate sympathy, but rather to cause anger or outrage among its consumers.[11] It is characterized by insincere rage, umbrage and indignation without personal accountability or commitment.[7][12][6] Media outlets are often incentivized to feign outrage because it specifically triggers many of the most lucrative online behaviors, including leaving comments, repeat pageviews and social sharing, which the outlets capitalize on.[13] Salon, Gawker, and affiliated websites Valleywag and Jezebel have been noted for abusing the tactic.[14][15][7] Traditional media outlets, including television news and talk radio outlets have also been characterised as being engaged in outrage media.[16]: 12–13

Describes Talkshite and most of the rest of the media very well. Basically it refers to manufacturing outrage to get people worked up about something.

Talkshite is shit not wheat or chaff . It feeds the feral and thickI'd be surprised if most don't recognise TS for being exactly that.
Its a bit of fun, light background listening, designed to cause reaction and debate.
Dont take it seriously, separate the wheat from the chaff, and enjoy.
It's an interesting read but a bit polemical. Adam Grant's 'Think Again' and Steve Peters' 'The Chimp Paradox' are both more measured and better in my view.Yep, sums it up well.
Is that book worth reading btw? I’ve had it on my Goodreads shelf for ages but keep reading other things ahead of it.
I read a lot of social science non fiction but some of them veer too closely into cheesy self help territory.
Serie A docked points from Juventus with games remaining.
The Premier League made a statement and allowed it to get to the end of the season.
UEFA did something and little happened.
Italian football does appear stronger, whilst the PL and UEFA ruin their own brands.
