ExactlyRodri in midfield would have altered proceedings I expect. It was a bit knife through butter at times last night.

Not sure terrible is an apt description. Too casual perhaps. A bit too comfortable. You are right that he better address it in advance, not after he does something to fuck things up at Wembley...Thought stefan was well ropey , good at shot stopping but terrible when being pressed , something to work on
Me Me please sir me I knew :)

How is that entitled? When managers move sometimes a whole groups of backroom staff move with them.Sounds a bit entitled that, talking about taking another club’s staff.
His distribution is very good, better than most. Just not compared to Ederson.Ortega's ball distribution, frightening.
but excellent reflexes and shot stopping...
pep talked about brighton passing the ball once opponent within a meter then passing it Ortega was like hold my beerI thought that about Ortega he leaves it very late when passing the ball, I kept expecting him to get caught
They collectively shit themselves and got stage fright
Nonsense, they wimped out, especially that MitomaNonsense, they hammered the rags in that semi and they stumbled over the line through a combination of de gea and stuffiness as per fucking usual.
Agree mate.....it won't affect those finals. The only possible thing it could have done was maybe - maybe - have given rise to an injury last night as their bodies weren't at 'temple' status. Foden got booted on the leg, so he was subbed. Stones just felt tight muscles, so he was subbed and no harm done. Everyone else appeared to be OK, although Bernardo was wincing a bit on the bench.Just caught up on this thread.
Do some people on here actually think the alcohol consumed by the players on Sunday will affect them in the cup final a week on Saturday and the the champions league final the following week?
Seriously?
Deary fucking me
Fuck Pep. What's he done in the game? He knows fuck all. Same with all the medical staff, conditioning people and sports phycologists at the club.Agree mate.....it won't affect those finals. The other thing to remember.....Sterling's goal at Bournemouth away in the 97th minute to give us victory (the one where he was subsequently booked for a second time for allegedly going into the crowd and was therefore sent off). IIRC Pep had a right go at the players afterwards for NOT celebrating the win. He said you have to celebrate those moments. He's probably given the green light for the celebrations after the Chelsea game if that's anything to go by.
Also, in Pep's presser before the Brighton game he did mention some players had niggles. Likely that's the case with the 5 that didn't travel.
Nothing wrong with a celebration last Sunday imho.
Probably just the wording. Makes it sound like they don’t have a choice. But in principle you’re right. How is that entitled? When managers move sometimes a whole groups of backroom staff move with them.
It was also a comment on their effectiveness
I'm not a fan of music blaring and dancing. Are you kidding me, brighton have done extremely well since they have been in the prem and made europe for the first time , we used to be them or have you forgotten already
Difference between both teams is irrelevant considering the resources, what matters is committement to playing beautiful football which Brighton have shown throughout and its something which will help English game in the long run.I enjoy watching Brighton and DeZerbi has done a very impressive job. That said we are 27 points clear of B&HA...its all relative I suppose.
We are a nice lotIt may already have been mentioned already but the City fans instantly applauding the Brighton goal was a credit to them.
