Bozza was doing what the fuck he pleased, along with others. The conversations will prove this. As Sunak is dragging his heels he's bound to be involved otherwise he'd have buried Johnson with it.

Cannot for the life of me think why they need extra time to hand over these messages unless they are trying to somehow delete the offending messages beforehand. This Conservative Party have no scruples and I wouldn’t give these bastards any wriggle room whatsoever to try and cover up their misdemeanours

That's exactly what they are doing.

It's remenisicent of the Cambridge analytica scandal when the home secretary (May) gave the order the seize their computers over vote rigging using social media. She gave them 3 days notice to wipe/lose the hard drives.

Surely the government should live by the rules that when on official time or on official business, all work is the intellectual property of the Crown. Therefore, these messages do not belong to the individuals and that’s why they are trying to invoke national security rights.

Also, whatever the messages are aren’t actually deleted on WhatsApp, they are stored forever on their ‘farm’.

Out of interest, many realms of public service are told not to use WhatsApp due to possible security issues yet the government use it for official business.

All sounds dodgy as fuck.

It was said, before the inquiry was set up, that the government would hide behind the ‘National security’ screen. It looks like it is happening. They will be out of office soon so it will all come to light then anyway but too late to screw them.

It’s when you cannot hold people to account, for good or bad, that really fucks people off. This era of governance has been the worst that most have seen, or will ever see, and the dross that we have on the front bench, people who are only in it for themselves, must never be seen again.

Cummings ordered them to use Signal as the security encryption was a lot better.

They probably didn't know how to download it so stuck with WhatsApp.
