Yes - the bottom 20% of Poland are poor but it seems our 20% are now worse off than them. Is that something you are happy about? Poles used to come hear to earn - they now are at home and won't come back because we won't allow them and anyway they are better off staying at home

Our bottom 20% have always been poorer, when we were the richest country on the planet the poor were living in filth.

Then why do you think Eastern European labour incl Poles came here to work donkeys years whilst we were in the EU? Was it a bizarre quest from them to earn even less than they did at home.

You forget the poorest Brits were convinced by the Brexiteer argument was that they came here to undercut them and work for less which would indicate that our 20% were earning more.

The poorest 20% in this country have always been poor, that's before during and after our stint in the EU, why are you using a grifter like Patten to make a point when in all honestly you wouldn't normally, is it to feed a narrative.

I don't care what the poles earn what I do know is what I have told you, the poor have always been poor in this country and it's insulting how people who are now not doing so well are using the poor as some kind of yardstick as if they give a fuck.
