This is it with Liverpool fans, they could sign Mcallister, Thuram, and a couple of others and all is well, fantastic. City could sign Kovacic and they will all be like, it's not fair City are ruining this game, chequebook Pep etc. A very strange breed of fans, them and the rags should obviously be the only teams spending money

I think it's a hard signing to justify when you look over and see Foden and Alvarez on the bench, both of who can play behind Haaland (also Mahrez who'd push Bernie into those roles)
