Harry Kane

Their dreams of a striker that was promised are ending. Oh, well. Bad Benzema.

100m for a 29-year-old (turning 30 next month) with 1 year left in the contract? Looks like exactly the kind of deal Madrid would make. lol Good way to repeat the Hazard success, am I right?

They make out they spend zero money they're absolutely thick as fuck

They will have to make do with some of their cheap pick-ups, Sancho, Antony or Martial. The weak, the spinning and the injured. Or Rashford, who apparently doesn't jump. I think their best striker in recent times has been Ibrahimovich. At least, Raiola, for all his reputations, delivered and scored. Good luck to them.

Are these the same people? Otherwise, what you’re saying is; hold the press, people on a forum have differing opinions! And you’re just merging isolated comments to suit your agenda.

Given the percentages, largely the same people yes. Slow day with nothing else to be irritated by?

Someone tell the daft fucker that it's always been pay to win, ever since Preston signed the best Scottish players on top wages to win the first FL title in 1889.

Spurs will be crying because their legend is ditching them like second-hand goods. Ten Hag will be crying as he has been telling the world that he has done a masterful work, all undone by the lack of a serviceable striker. Hopefully, Real Madrid will be crying because Kane won't be compatible with their golden boy, Vinicius Jr. Vini needs a runner just as Ronaldo had runners in Higuain and Benzema.

The last time I looked, we'd spent £80m more on transfers over the last 10 years than the rags.

HOWEVER, we recouped £460m in transfer fees, with the rags achieving less than half that figure. The average cost of our 5 most expensive players is £60m, ManUre's is £80m!

Having the money to spend is one thing. Spending it wisely & managing the squad properly is another thing altogether.

Finally, ManUre outbid City on Pogba, Sanchez, Maguire, Fred & Ronaldo, meaning we moved onto other targets.

Their fans were cockahoop because this apparently proved ManUre's financial superiority over City, & reinforced the rag's notion that Old Toilet will always remain a bigger draw for elite players than the Etihad.

They've got short memories, probably affected by liberal amounts of whisky & spice! \0/

Without Haaland here, I’d be all over it, even at £100m… he’s just got 30 goals for Spurs, finishing 8th! …even at 30 he’s a world class striker and there are few about! But it seems that Levy won’t entertain it anyway, so he’ll either buy into Ange or he’ll leave on a free next year and someone will be getting a class player.

I’ve said it in this thread before. I’d buy him and stick him in midfield. You don’t want anyone else buying him. Worth a punt for a year or three. He can take gundos spot.

I'd probably be off to Madrid if I was him

He would probably tear it up in terms of goals scored, its a lot easier to score goals there. That's why the likes of Ronaldo and Suarez were doing far greater numbers there than here.

He would be stupid if he cares more about a Premier League record number of goals than actually winning things or getting the opportunity to play for a huge club. Even if you were to break the record, the reality is someone else will break it in future anyway, so it's really not that important...but you can go somewhere and wind trophies and nobody can take that away from you.

He's a genuinely world class player and he must kick himself every day thinking about what Pep could've done with him. I think he would be Pep's ideal striker as he's got a very good football brain and can play as a striker and drop deep. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we enquired about him again.

Personally though, I think the ship has sailed. He will go to Real for £100m and he will be brilliant. Hopefully the experience in Spain for him and Bellingham will help us win the Euros and WC! :)
