If you click on the info bit next to the active bit it directs you to a YouTube video of how they activate it. Apparently you turn your blue tooth on your phone and one of the stewards will activate it by some scanning system.
 
But you will need to either "keep" or "transfer" at some point. The ticket will then be activated at the ground when the time comes...

Is that some goalposts I see in the distance.

I`ve got some fold up travel binoculars, and I`m seriously thinking of taking them.

Anyway if that`s the top of the bottom tier what a shite view you`ll have lower down. It`ll be like watching a game in Wythenshawe Park from a bus parked on Princess Parkway.
