Agreed mate, I was driving in failsworth last week and kid flew past me I was doing 40 he was travelling a lot faster. They are but they are also not legal for road use in UK. For bikes 15mph max with pedal assist, throttle 4mph max anything outside of that requires type approval for road use registering and the relevant licence and insurance etc. They are the modern equivalent of mini moto's from the 90's took a few deaths before they started confiscating and crushing which is the way these will have to go.
Got to happen. seen people calling them electric motorcycles the vast majority aren't (although some are) as they are not certified for use on UK highways regardless of what licence you hold or how old you are, they can only be sold for off road use.Agreed mate, I was driving in failsworth last week and kid flew past me I was doing 40 he was travelling a lot faster.
Police will end up confiscating them on them spot!

The irony being the little cunts wouldn't last 2 mins in basic training.RIP to a fallen soldier..are doing the rounds. We're truly fucked

Regardless of the veracity of that comment, if you're not breaking the law the police have no reason to take an interest.BBC News, local bloke saying it was the police following him that made him go fast and crash into the ambulance.
Utter shite

That’s probably what the dibble were trying to do as he was being chased/ followedI work with this lad’s aunty. Quite sad how these accident will continue to happen due to souped-up e-bikes which can travel up to 50mph ridden by clueless kids with no crash helmets etc. The police should have the power to confiscate any e-bike they see which is travelling at stupid speeds.
Yep esp as the Police had to stop following him due to not being able to continue due to bollardsBBC News, local bloke saying it was the police following him that made him go fast and crash into the ambulance.
