Linked with Nico Williams who's a very good prospect from Spain. Only got 12 months left on his contract as well.

Walker likely to leave according to Sam Lee and the Athletic

Will be a very hard player to replace, offers something that no other right back in the world can. When up against a world class winger he pockets him

Been replaced already with a centre back! Personally think he will stay see out his last season under contract then leave for free..

Only right back links I’ve seen have been to Molina and that kid from Porto Joao Mario? Will be interesting to see what route we go. If pep wants to continue this system we’d get another Akanji like what Ake and hopefully Gvardiol will offer on the left.

Oh and Cancelo but he’s got to be done.

What if Pep just taking a guess wants Gvardiol and Stones to do what Stones is doing in midfield. Gvardiol is capable.

Kyle Walker definitely has a few good years left in him.

He's 33 now so staying at City and being in and out of the team isn't a bad thing, We've always made changes to the starting line up and the right back spot is no different.

If he stays he will have a huge part to play without doubt.

Tolmie have previously mentioned the club had a long term interest in Reece James. With Chelsea in desperate need for cash and James being a youth product (meaning zero book value, all income from a potential sale would count as profit) we might look there and see if a move is possible. A year ago it would seem to be an "impossible" move, but today, with them being open to moving another own product (Mount) who is an England international? Might be possible..

If you have Gvardiol and Stones in that midfield with Rodri that's complete control 3 press resistant players that can stop counter attacks as well. The midfield would be packed no space for opposition to find passes.

You would have a midfield of Rodri Gundogan, Gvardiol, Stones, KDB.

True and he’s a great player.

Walker would be a shock though?

It's hardly an stretch at the age of 33 and a year left.

And hardly a stretch to say he was disappointed at not starting the Final.

Kyle even said he gave a speech beforehand.

It's just words.

He's on a good screw, so unless we tear up his deal as a reward, few clubs can afford the package.

No thanks. Missed 25 games last season alone through injuries.

I wonder how much his personal life comes into play as well. Got to remember his mrs wasn’t happy about him windmilling around Manchester and not for the first time!!

Take that all in but age catches up with everyone and he will have less game time next season! I want him to stay though just for his experience it be up to him though..
I've an elixir I can sell you. Very cheap...

I've listened to enough interviews with Walker this season to surmise that he'll see out this contract and then, probably, rejoin Sheffield United. Anyway, he's still too valuable for us to allow him to leave; after all, who else is going to look after Grealish when he's 'overrefreshed'?
