Phillips ? Maximum Phillips can expect a bacon double cheeseburger, extra large fries, family sized pizza, chicken side and a drink.
Will slot in the "fukin cracking player" categoryA very solid signing but don't really see where he fits
I don't think he has enough final 3rd quality to be the two 8's behind Haaland, think once Gundo leaves Foden or Alvarez are more likely options for that role
Playing style he's closest to Bernardo, he's technically very good, great close control, press resistant and great work rate but he's never played on the wings
He isn't going to start over Rodri and Stones when fully fit unless one of them are being rested
Great player, smart fee but yea struggling.to see how he fits
But if Pep wants him he surely has a plan for him
Great start to the window
That’s too much sense mate :)Kovacic has the technical ability, experience, physique, and intelligence to play in our midfield from game one. If we bought someone with lesser qualities, they would take a season to bed in. He'll take time convincing some, especially if Bernardo and/or Gundogan leave, as they'll then equate him as their direct replacement, but the sooner we accept him on his own merits, the sooner we'll appreciate what he brings.

Silva as well possiblity more than PhillipsIf Kovacic and Gvardiol come in, I think Laporte, Gundo, and Phillips are going
Fair enough. I think his greatest talent is his brain. He is way smarter than his age or anyone around his age.I don't think Rico is all that, but might just be me.
Very young still, so be interesting to see how he develops.
Never a defender, mind.
Not that it matters. I thought they should have been paying us. But fair enough our front office have nice people. That's said was it 25 or 30?£25m is a bargain if that’s the true fee. Very good addition.
£25m plus reported add ons of £5m.Not that it matters. I thought they should have been paying us. But fair enough our front office have nice people. That's said was it 25 or 30?
Also once he develops more physically it will help him a lot. He’s still very young and has huge potential.Fair enough. I think his greatest talent is his brain. He is way smarter than his age or anyone around his age.
If his confidence and skill take one step forward, he'll be a bonafide starter material. Not sure how that may look.
I'd take him over anyone of the young guys at present.
Apart from international duty meet ups, how does signing Kovacic lure Gvardiol?Signing Kovacic not only gave City a great midfielder, but also finished the process of luring Gvardiol to City. Two birds, one shotgun.
Close friends. Chelsea used the same approach when they were close to signing him a few months back.Apart from international duty meet ups, how does signing Kovacic lure Gvardiol?
